Scarred Man Hits Same Bank Twice Oakboro, NC – The Charlotte FBI Safe Streets Task Forces needs the public’s help catching a man who has hit the same bank twice. Agents say the robber has a possible scar on the bridge of his nose. They say he robbed the Bank of Stanly branch at 624 North Main Street on Wednesday October 8, and also back in May 2008. Bank tellers describe the robber as a black man about 6’2” tall, 210 pounds. He was seen wearing a band-aid on the bridge of his nose in the May robbery. Witnesses saw him leaving the area in an older model burgundy Ford sedan. No one was hurt during the robbery.
