The two men known as the “Interstate Bandits” are in police custody. Officers in Edison, New Jersey arrested Malik Dillard on July 21, 2008 after a robbery at a PNC Bank. The next day investigators arrested Zarqurous Lequis Sanders in a hotel room in Lincoln, Alabama. Both men are suspected in connection with more than a dozen bank robberies dating back to May 8, 2008 along interstate highways in Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, New Jersey and Maryland . Five were in North Carolina; Huntersville, Cary, Concord and two in Raleigh. Additional suspects in these robberies have been identified and more arrests are expected.
