“Grocery Bag Bandit” and Accomplice Arrested After Bank RobberyBracey, VA – Sheriff’s deputies in Mecklenburg County, Virginia arrested two men yesterday after a bank robbery in Bracey, VA. Investigators with the FBI Safe Streets Task Force in Charlotte believe the men are responsible for robbing the RBC Bank at 7852 Arboretum Drive on Monday, July 7. Marvin Maurice Williams and William Bernard Barr are both in custody in Virginia right now. Investigators say Williams may also be connected to robberies at the SunTrust Bank in Matthews on June 6, 2008, and the BB&T on Conlan Circle on June 30, 2008. The Charlotte Field Office is asking anyone with any other information about these robberies to call 704-377-9200.
