MS-13 Fugitive in Custody

Monroe, NC – Nelson Hernandez Ayala, (aka – 16) turned himself in to US Marshals in Monroe, NC this morning. Marshals took him into custody without incident. Members of the Charlotte FBI Safe Streets Task Force have been searching for Ayala since last Tuesday when a federal grand jury indicted him and 25 other suspected MS-13 gang members.

 The Safe Streets Task Force is made of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, Gastonia Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The Safe Streets Task Force is actively searching for Javier Molina aka “Big Psycho.” If anyone has information that might lead to his arrest please call the Charlotte Field Office at 704-377-9200 or CrimeStoppers at 704-334-1600.
