Charlotte, NC - On Wednesday May 30, 2007, at approximately 11:00 a.m., an unknown white male subject entered the Suntrust Bank located at 8121 Mallard Creek Church Road, Charlotte, North Carolina.  The subject was armed with a semi-automatic pistol that he displayed as he entered the bank. This individual is believed to be responsible for robbing the same bank on May 15, 2007, and the Suntrust Bank located at 9617 Holly Point Drive, Huntersville, North Carolina, on April 25, 2007.

Investigators from the FBI's Safe Streets Task Force and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the robbery and are still investigating.  The FBI's Safe Streets Task Force is comprised of Special Agents of the FBI, officers and detectives from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department, Deputies of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office, representatives from North Carolina State Probation and Parole, and other law enforcement agencies.
