Charlotte, NC ---The SunTrust Bank, located at 8121 Mallard Creek
Road was robbed today at approximately 10:00 a.m. by a lone suspect.
This same suspect is alleged to be connected to the SunTrust robbery
in Huntersville on April 25, 2007. The suspect is described as a white
male, approximately 5' 8", 190lbs, mid 30's, average build.
Investigators from the FBI's Safe Streets Task Force and the Charlotte
Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the robbery and are still
investigating. The FBI's Safe Streets Task Force is comprised of agents,
officers, and detectives form the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department,
Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office, the North Carolina Probation
and Parole, and other law enforcement agencies.
