Charlotte, NC -A wanted fugitive is still sought by the FBI here.
ROSCOE ABELL, aka "Scoe" and "Big Bra," 28, of 426 Wellingford Street here, is wanted for various felony narcotics offenses in connection with the March 30 execution of multiple federal arrest warrants against alleged members of the "Hidden Valley Kings" street gang. Abell is considered to be armed and dangerous, as is alleged to have been a ranking member of the "Hidden Valley Kings."
Abell is described as a black male, approximately 5' 7" and approximately 190 lbs. The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of ABELL.
"The FBI is committed to continuing the search for and eventual arrest of this fugitive," said Nathan T. Gray, Special Agent-in-Charge ofthe FBI in North Carolina. "We are relying on the public's help in locating this dangerous criminal as we seek to remove him from the streets and potentially endangering more lives."
A joint investigation by the FBI's Safe Streets Task Force culminated in the filing, under seal, on March 27, of a 48-count federal bill of indictment. The FBI's Safe Streets Task Force is ajoint, cooperative, law enforcement organization comprising of agents, officers and detectives from ATF, ICE, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Mecklenburg County Sheriffs Office, Gastonia Police Department, and the North Carolina Probation and Parole. Additional assistance was provided by agents and officers ofthe State Bureau ofInvestigation, Concord Police Department, and the U.S. Marshals
Service for the Western District of North Carolina.
