Charlotte, NC---The RBC Centura bank, located at 3920 Colony Road, was robbed Wednesday at approximately 1:00 p.m.

The suspect is described as a white male, early to mid 20's approximately 5'10" and 140 pounds. He was wearing dark sunglasses and a dark gray sweatshirt with jeans.

According to statements, the suspect entered the bank and indicated he has a weapons, but no weapon was seen. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank on foot.

Investigators from the FBI's Safe Streets Task Force and Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the robbery and are still investigating. The FBI's Safe Streets Task Force is comprised of agents, officers, and detectives form the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department, Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office, the North Carolina Probation and Parole, and other law enforcement agencies.
