FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ROBBERY AT BB&T BANKCharlotte, NC - A lone, armed robber entered the BB&T bank at 2414 West Franklin Boulevard in Gastonia Wednesday at approximately 3:15 p.m. and demanded money from the teller. The suspect, as seen in the attached photos, is described as a black male, approximately mid 30's to 40's, 5' 7" to 5' 9" and 180 to 200 pounds. The suspect was wearing what appears to be a black shirt, black belt, black hat and dark colored pants. He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money from the teller's drawer. A witness described the suspect as having some physical deformity with his left eye, a distinguishable and identifying feature. Investigators are releasing the attached still images from the bank surveillance tapes to help further identify the suspect. Anyone with information regarding this robbery or the suspect, please call the police or the FBI at 704-377-9200. The FBI and
