ATTEMPTED MURDER FUGITIVE ARRESTED IN MEXICO

Charlotte, NC - Kevin B Kendrick, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) here, announced the arrest of a Nashville fugitive wanted for attempted murder.

FLAVIO ALARCON CERECEDO was wanted SA Sutton, working with the District Attorney's office of Pitt County, N.C. has obtained a request for a Provisional Arrest Warrant (PAW), forwarded the PAW Request to Main Justice who has subsequently issued the PAW and sent it to Mexico to locate/arrest/extradite the fugitive back to the United States.

This is the Third Violent North Carolina Fugitive apprehended in the last week as a result of the efforts of the FBI's VIOLENT CRIME/SAFE STREETS TASK FORCE
