PHILADELPHIA FUGITVE ARRESTED IN RALEIGH

Charlotte, NC - Kevin B Kendrick, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) here, in conjunction with the Raleigh Police Department, announced Friday's arrest of a Philadelphia fugitive.

TYRONE GRAHAM was arrested at 1412 Sawyer Road in Raleigh by agents from the FBI Raleigh Resident Agency and the Raleigh Police Department's fugitive squad, of which both are partners in the Raleigh Violent Crimes and Safe Streets Task Force. GRAHAM had been charged in Philadelphia for the March, 2006 murder of Hassan Poulson and Unauthorized Flight to Avoid Prosecution. He was arrested without incident and is being held in the Wake County jail awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.

"This arrest exemplifies the outstanding cross-state coordination between law enforcement at all levels. I commend the investigators for the work done here, in conjunction with our law enforcement partners in Philadelphia, resulting in the capture of a known fugitive," said Kendrick.

The FBI's Raleigh-Durham Area Safe Streets Task Force is comprised of law enforcement officers from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Durham Police Department, the Durham County Sheriff's Office, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, and the Raleigh Police Department.
