ROBBERY AT WACHOVIA BANK

Charlotte, NC - A lone robber entered the Wachovia bank at 110 Franklin Blvd in Gastonia today at approximately 10:50 a.m. and presented a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect threatened the use of a gun, but it was not observed or brandished. He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money from the teller's drawer. He is described as black male, approximately 5' 7" and 150 pounds.

Investigators are releasing the attached still images from the bank surveillance tapes to help further identify the suspect. Anyone with information regarding this robbery or the suspect, please call the police or the FBI at 704-377-9200.

The FBI and other law enforcement agencies are still investigating.
