| ROBBERY AT WACHOVIA BANK Charlotte, NC – A Wachovia bank was robbed today by two armed men, with a third providing a “get away” vehicle. Two armed men entered the Wachovia bank on 712 Tyvola Road at approximately 10:40 a.m. and took an undisclosed amount of money from the teller’s drawers. Both suspects are described as 5’9” – 5’11”, slender build and wearing baggy clothing. One suspect wore a black, while the other wore a white ski mask. An eyewitness identified the “get away” vehicle as a 2000 Cadillac Deville, light silver, with a leather top. Investigators are reviewing video surveillance tapes to help further identify the suspects. The FBI and other law enforcement agencies are still investigating.
