FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE IMAGES FROM ROBBERY AT KANNAPOLIS WACHOVIA BANK Charlotte, NC – A Wachovia bank in Kannapolis was robbed at gun point Monday by several unidentified perpetrators. Three black and/or Asian females, along with and two black males entered the Wachovia Bank at 704 N. Cannon Boulevard at approximately 4:45 p.m. and one suspect fired shots from a handgun. No injuries were reported from the shots, and the male in the photo is suspected to have fired the shots. The suspects left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a silver, 4-door, 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer with a cardboard license plate. Attached are bank surveillance video images of the suspects. General descriptions: 1. black or Asian female, light colored ball cap, sun glasses, white jersey with “99”on the front and “Sapp 99” on the back 2. black or Asian female, ball cap, sunglasses, light short sleeve shirt, pants with lighter colored strip down sides 3. black female, ball cap, sunglasses, short sleeve shirt, and dark pants 4. black male (seen in photo), short sleeve shirt, short hair, mustache and goatee 5. black male The FBI and Kannapolis Police Department request your assistance in broadcasting this information and encourage anyone with information to contact either law enforcement agency. The FBI and other law enforcement agencies are still investigating.
